On January 30, 2023, Apple announced a third season of Acapulco. The creators are unable to announce the release date for the rd. season of the show because it was recently renewed.

Although a formal announcement has not yet been made, the upcoming season may also have ten episodes, much like the previous ones.

The main cast of the show consists of Maximo Gallardo Ramos (Eugenio Derbies, Ernesto Arizona, and Erick Silda), Guillermo (Fernando Corsa and Hammy Madera), Guillermo’s son, and Memo (an older version of Guillermo).

There are several actors there, including Page Alcazar, Daniel Fuentes Lobo, and Alcazar as Don Pablo Bonilla.

Will Sass, Lobo Elias, Julian Sedgwick, Rossana de Leon, Sofia Ruiz, Erick Zavala, Jessica Balsaneli, Samantha Orozco, and many more are part of the series’ recurrent cast.

According to star and executive producer Eugenio Derbies, “We at 3Pas Productions are thankful to Apple TV+, the perfect home for Acapulco, along with our production partner Lionsgate, filmmakers, and cast and crew.”

“Crank up the AC, it’s going to get a lot hotter at Las Colinas Resort. We have always thought that the tales we tell about our towns and cultures can resonate with worldwide audiences.”

According to Morgan Wendell, head of foreign content for Apple TV+, “We’ve received an enormous response from viewers all around the globe who have developed a fascination with Acapulco.”

“‘Acapulco’ has been a feel-good show with a lot of heart, emotion, and humor, and we can’t wait to deliver even more of that into season three,” said Eugenio, Dallas, Ben, Eric, Kim, and the outstanding cast and crew.

Throughout the season, Maximo and Memo experienced highs and lows. Memo came dangerously close to losing his job when he almost got blamed for Maximo’s involvement with the paparazzi.

We all understood, though, that they couldn’t be separated for very long. Memo realized he couldn’t be upset with Maximo indefinitely after learning that Maximo gave Miguel all of his tips in exchange for hiring him as a boy toy. These two are incredibly special to me.
