Oh! Air Gear, whose Japanese name is Ea Gia, is a manga series created and illustrated by Great. The distinctive plot of this futuristic sports anime, which combines shounen and action elements, has captivated viewers.

The story follows school gang leader Itsuki Minami as he and his companions Kazuma Mikura & Onigiri pursue their goal of becoming the ultimate flying ace. Is Season 2 of Air Gear on the horizon now that Season 1 has concluded? Then let’s go exploring.

From November 2002 through May 2012, Oh! Great wrote and drew the chapters of Air Gear, a Japanese manga series that ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The chapters were compiled into 37 tankōbon volumes.

In Air Gear, our protagonist, Itsuki Minami also known as “Ikki or Crow,” “Baby Face,” “Lil (as well as Little) Crow,” & his companions have fascinating lifestyles.

The plot revolves on their use of Air Gear, a creation inside the realm that draws inspiration from inline skates. The story’s early chapters introduce the individuals that would later become friends with Ikki.

The plot revolves on their responsibilities as Storm Riders & their mission to achieve the Trophaeum Tower, the holy grail that every Storm Rider aspires to.

Air Gear Season 2 Release Date:

The source material & the financial performance of the first season are the two most important criteria that will determine the possibility of Air Gear Season 2 returning in 2024.

In 2012, with the release of volume 37, the Air Gear anime came to an end. Volume 13 was the extent to which the anime delves, leaving plenty of material for a possible second season. If you’re looking for more of the narrative, you should read Air Gear Omnibus 5.

Air Gear Season 2 Trailer Release:

Season 2 of Air Gear does not yet have a teaser video.

Air Gear Season 2 Storyline:

The initial season of Air Gear was published more over ten years ago, and since then, Toei Animation has been mum about any plans to continue the series. Having said that, a second season of Air Gear is quite improbable.

However, there is more than enough content for another season at the studio’s disposal. There are 358 chapters in the manga series, but only the first 104 have been covered in the first season. With what’s left over, they can even create a second season.

Season 2 of Air Gear seemed even more implausible when I remembered that Satelight had already produced a successor to the show in the form of original video anime episodes.

In an effort to jump the gun on the main anime series’ timetable, Satelight adapted several chapters from the manga. The confrontation between Ikki & Ringo is set in the sixteenth volume of the manga, while the battle between Kogarasumaru and Sleeping Forest within Inorganic Net takes place in the twenty-third or twenty-fourth volume.

All around the country, gangs are springing up to participate in different events utilizing their A-Ts, which are part of a new trend called “Air Treks” a future progression of aggressive skating.

A member of the group “The East-Side Gunz,” Ikki is the hardest-hitting punk in town, and he’s a middle schooler. Adoptive parents brought him in while he was a child, and now he lives alongside four beautiful sisters.

The girls are members of the notorious A-T gang “Sleeping Forest,” which Ikki is unaware of. Ikki quickly discovers the Air Treks universe, which propels him into a destiny he never imagined, where he uncovers his history and befriends many storm-riding pals.

Itsuki Minami, who is more often referred to as Ikki by his pals, was defeated in a confrontation with the Skull Saders, a Storm Rider squad. After that, he starts to delve further into the realm of aviation equipment and learns a secret the Noyamano sisters had hidden from him.

Unintentionally, he winds up to an Air Treck gathering and accidentally challenges the Skull Saders squad after deciding to test out a pair of Air Trecks that his sister gave him. The allure of Simca on Ikki is the reason for this.

His determination to keep up Air Gear and his plans to form an individual Air Treck squad are fueled by his vision of what he perceives to be The Wing’s Road.

He decides to provide Simca a hand when he realizes that she’s in difficulties as darkness falls. Simca spots him this time when he watches her practice on her ATs the next night. Unbeknownst to her, the Rez-Boa Dogs, a Storm Rider squad, are vying for the symbol she gives Ikki as a special treat.
