Amber Heard remains in the cast, the news of the dismissal denied

A few days ago the news began to circulate that Amber Heard had been fired from the cast of Aquaman 2, where he had to return as the character of Mera. This news was coupled with the parallel petition launched by some fans in support of the actress's departure from the cast of the Warner / DC film.

A few days ago, in fact, the Australian website Sausage Roll and the YouTube channel PopCorned Planet had stated that Heard had not "passed the physical test" for the role and that in this way he had "violated" his contract for Aquaman 2. Other sites like The Blast and We Got This Covered added that the actress would then be replaced by Emilia Clarke, to the delight of the many fans of the Daenerys Targaryen interpreter who would see her perfect for the part.

Nothing could be more false. Journalist Ryan Parker who works for the Hollywood Reporter posted a message on his Twitter profile in which he writes: "I was told by a trusted source that reports of Amber Heard's firing from Aquaman 2 are inaccurate"Despite this weak denial, no other details have been added on the matter.

Some time ago, particularly after Depp's firing from Fantastic Beasts, fans began clamoring for the actress to be exempted from what is currently the main franchise in which we see her engaged, namely the DC Extended Universe. The petition to ask Warner to replace Heard as Mera for Aquaman 2 it was a practically immediate success and, according to the latest updates, has already reached the remarkable figure of 1.8 million signatures.
