My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer Season 2 Storyline:

The Red Ogre adventurer Belgrieve retires when a monster bites off his leg. In Turnera village, he comes upon an abandoned baby girl and adopts her into his family.

Angeline wishes to follow in Belgrieve’s footsteps as an adventurer when she is twelve years old, and despite his concerns for her safety, he send her to Orphen City to get into the guild. As the youngest surviving S-Rank adventurer, Black-Haired Valkyrie, Angeline becomes renowned five years later.

Following her successful dragon-slaying, Angeline plans to visit Belgrieve on vacation. However, she is abruptly forced to postpone her trip due to an important assignment that the guild master insists she do, much to Belgrieve’s disappointment.

Some weeks later, she gets her vacation. However, on her way there, she saves the life of aristocratic Seren Bordeaux from robbers, but then she has to bring Seren to her sick father, Count Bordeaux.

This causes her vacation time to run out. After yet another setback, Belgrieve decides to teach the kids in the village adventure skills as a diversion. Angeline is helped to feel better by her party mates, the lightning mage Miriam and archer Anessa. While on her next trip, she writes Belgrieve many letters detailing her activities, and she is still adamant on seeing him.

Sasha Bordeax, Seren’s sister, pays a visit to Belgrieve. After Angeline turned down Seren’s reward 100 gold Sasha handed it to Belgrieve so that Seren might visit her father one more time before he passed away.

Since Sasha is also an AA-rank adventurer, she challenges him to a duel, which he easily wins. He is bewildered when she, convinced of his grandeur, vows to come back to learn further from him.

Once again, Angeline’s vacation is canceled because of the rising number of monster assaults. Word on the street is that Solomon, the mad magician, may have conjured up a race of immortal homunculi called the 72 Demon Kings.

After their father passes away, Helvetica, Seren, and Sasha’s elder sister, who is now Countess, pay a visit to Belgrieve. If he does not agree to be a warrior for her family, Helvetica threatens to abduct him.

As a last resort, Belgrieve demands he married her instead of her, frightening her men into surrender. Having grown used to Helvetica’s immature antics, Seren manages to rein her in before agreeing to go to the harvest festival with Belgrieve.

The guild is contemplating calling on retired adventures to return to the profession because of a scarcity of adventurers, which gives Angeline optimism that she or Belgrieve could start adventuring together. In another part of the world, a peculiar creature emerges from a cave in quest of its slain master.

Belgrieve is aware that Angeline will not be able to come until spring now that winter has arrived. Recalled adventures bring Angeline face-to-face with Cheborg the Annihilator, Dortos the Silver, Maria the Dragon Slyer, and the rest of her S-Rank companions. Armed with the necessary personnel, the guild master launched an inquiry into the source of the recent uptick in monster activity a possible resurrected demon lord in a neighboring dungeon.

Upon getting the dungeon, the ruler of demons takes the form of a corrupted kid called Ba’al. Its wrath and suffering cause it to create creatures as it frantically seeks its master.

After destroying Ba’al, Angeline is hurt and passes out from its tremendous strength. A demon lord is vanquished by Angeline, and she is feted for it. At the same time, a dark sorcerer finds Ba’al’s bones and decides that Angeline may derail his plans.

When Angeline returns home after her vacation with Anessa & Miriam, she is greeted warmly by Belgrieve, who she had finally reunited with during her visit to Turnera.
