The Japanese gentle novel series Black Summoner was turned into an anime called Black Summoner Anime. Doufu Mayoi wrote the fantasy book, which has 17 parts.
There is also a manga version of the book called Black Summoner, which has the same name as the anime. Doufu Mayoi is the author of the manga, and Gin Ammo is the artist.

When he realises that he gave up his memory in exchange for powerful new abilities, the story takes a strange turn. He also realises that before he lost his memory, he fell in love with an Angel follower.
From that strange place, he starts his journey, and to his surprise, he fights and beats big monsters. His unusual skills help him all along the way. Kelvin’s journey is shown in the whole series.
How did he forget everything? Did he have a mishap or did something terrible happen to him? First of all, how did he get to be in such a strange place? Is he going to be able to remember everything?
