CBSE 10th, 12th Exams: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has today announced that all the exams will not be conducted again for students of 10th and 12th standard from the North East region of Delhi. These students were not able to take the exam because at the time of the examination, violence erupted in one area of Delhi. However, examinations in the rest of the country were conducted as per schedule.
CBSE has said in a recent circular that only the examination of core subjects will be conducted for these students. This decision is being taken only once. The board said, "The board will conduct examinations only for core subjects which will be required for further promotion and may be important for admission to higher education institutions."
The circular states, "When the board is in a position to conduct the examination, the examination will only conduct the examination for the following 29 subjects." Out of this, 6 subjects will be conducted for 10th class and 23 subjects will be conducted for 12th class. Examinations of 29 major subjects will be conducted again.
