Neither Y Taichi (in Japanese) or Emi Lo (in English) will play Akane again. The Snake Devil, of course, killed the devil hunter near the conclusion of the hunting season.
Chainsaw Man Season 2 Storyline:
“Denji is a teenager who lives with Pochita, a chainsaw devil. Due to the debts his father left alone, he has been living in squalor while collecting devil corpses with Pochita to pay off his debts. A day, Denji is deceived and killed.
As his mind starts to fade, he makes a deal with Pochita and comes back to life as “Chainsaw Man,” a man with a heart of the devil.”
