Chapelwaite Season 2 Storyline:
Captain Charles Boone is saddened after losing his beloved wife tragically on board a whaler ship. He must, however, look after his kids, who just lost their mom as well.
The family settled into their ancestral home in the tranquil and enigmatic Maine village of Preacher’s Corners. However, it is clear from the initial day that they are not wanted in the neighborhood. The Boons discover the family’s dark past and the misdeeds of their forefathers as family secrets are solved.
The Boone family’s history is told by Chapelwaite. Captain Charles Boone recently lost his wife at sea, and he intends to fulfill her last desire. He moved to Preacher’s Corners, Maine, with his children after receiving the Chapelwaite farm from a relative.
Charles intends to fulfill his wife’s wish of providing his children with a cozy house and family. But things do not turn out as expected. Preacher’s Corner does not accept the bereaved Boone family. And Charle’s family history has anything to do with this. Even he is shocked by how little he understands about his family.
Honor, Tane, & Loa, as well as Charles, have a tough time adapting to life in the unfriendly tiny town. The eerie, dark, and isolated mansion doesn’t help either. Them do have one supporter. And Rebecca Morgan, a teenage novelist, wrote it. She is the family’s sole chance for camaraderie and solace in a community where everyone is unfriendly, and Charles employs her to take care of the kids.
When strange and horrific events begin to occur at the house, everything take a dark turn. The family is alarmed by the dark familial history of mental illnesses. Charles learns from the previous housekeeper Mrs. Clovis that Stephen hung himself, Phillip committed himself by jumping into the ocean, and Marcella was discovered with a scissor in her neck. But when Charles goes to get Stephen’s corpse, it has vanished.
This makes it more likely that people who pass away in the Boone relatives do not stay that way for very long. Charles visits Dr. Frost and the Frigate Island Hospital in his pursuit of the truth. Vermiphobia, or the dread of worms, is a familial trait that Charles learns about.
He discovers that it’s just the start of the mental disease that passes in the family when he too began to see worms in odd places. The town’s residents are becoming more resentful toward the Boones while the estate is still being destroyed by individuals in hoods.
One enigmatic force, however, is assisting the family by eliminating their adversaries and dangling them outside the mansion. Additionally, Charles has to locate a book called The Mysteries of the Worms that could be able to assist him solve his family’s riddle.
Chapelwaite’s conclusion is dramatic and exciting. Charles and the villagers get together to travel to Lot in Jerusalem to slay Jakub. Inside the chapel, Jakub is preparing for the worms eclipse while Loa is with him. The eclipse starts as he sings a passage from De Vermis Mysteriis.
The villagers are battling their way to the church through the vampires, but the undead outnumber them. Rebecca’s vampire father pulls her away amid all the chaos and gives her his blood. Rebecca refuses and makes an effort to develop a personal relationship with her father, who finally lets her leave. Charles eventually makes it to the cathedral carrying an offering from George as the conflict becomes more intense.
Loa defends her father from a vampire that was ready to murder him when Jakub sent her inside to fight him. In order to beat Jakub, Loa takes her father’s side. Jakun, though, is too strong. Jakub is defeated by Charles, who successfully cuts off his head. But Stephen keeps causing the eclipse of the worm.
To stop his cousin, Charles must now engage in combat. Only Charles, George, Abel, Rebecca, and Loa are left once the war is done. Honor & Tane are waiting to meet them when they return to Chapelwaite. Because their sister is now a vampire, Honor and Tane feel a little uneasy. Rebecca makes an effort to unite and console them nevertheless.
Charles is currently formulating a strategy to protect his family from vampires who are still searching for De Vermis Mysteriis. He turns into a vampire and requests that the local doctor stitch the book inside of him. Charles, who has the book stitched within and is now emerging from the water as a vampire, departs for the ocean, leaving his family behind behind Rebecca and Abel.
