Infinite, the new thriller starring Mark Wahlberg will debut in streaming on Paramount +

Postponed in the severe phase of the Coronavirus Pandemic and postponed to Memorial Day of this year, to be precise as of May 31, 2021, it is now announced that the intriguing Infinite of Antoine Fuqua (Traffic, The Equalizer) has been postponed further to stream on Paramount+.

To announce the news relating to the film con Mark Wahlberg was the head of ViacomCBS, Bob Bakish, which revealed how the title will be one of the flagship exclusives of the Paramount streaming service next June 2021. Furthermore, Bakish confirmed that in 2022 the original productions of the service will increase dramatically, with at least “one original movie a week“.

The story of Infinite will follow the events of Evan Michaels (Wahlberg), a man obsessed with memories of two past lives who runs into a secular secret society of individuals who invented the Cognomina, a sort of sect made up of people who can remember their past lives. The story will be an adaptation of the of D. Eric Maikranz The Reincarnationist Papers, with the screenplay for the film being written by Ian Shorr.

Alongside Wahlberg, who replaced Chris Evans as the lead in pre-production already underway, we will also find in the cast Dylan O’Brien and Sophie Cookson.
