James Bond, remember Specter’s record explosion? Here is the spectacular video on the set

Waiting to finally see No Tim To Die on the big screen, now that the release of the new James Bond film seems to be definitively set for September 2021, yesterday the official account of 007 celebrated the ‘throwback thurday’ with a one of the most spectacular moments of the latest spy adventure.

We are talking aboutBlofeld’s lair exploded in Specter, fourth film dedicated to James Bond by Daniel Craig released six years ago. The scene in question won the Guinness World Record for the largest explosion ever to appear in the cinema: the realization required the use of over 8,000 liters of fuel and more than 30 kilos of explosives. At the bottom of the news you can find the behind the scenes video with Craig and Léa Seydoux during the gigantic set explosion.

In No Tim To Die, directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Beasts of No Nation), Bond enjoys a quiet life in Jamaica after retiring from active duty. His quiet life, however, is abruptly interrupted when Felix Leiter, an old friend and CIA agent, reappears asking him for help. The mission to free a scientist from his kidnappers turns out to be more insidious than expected, leading Bond on the trail of a mysterious villain armed with a new and dangerous technology. Among the new entries of the cast we find Ana De Armas, Lashana Lynch and Rami Maleck, the latter in the role of the villain.

In the meantime, we leave you to our analysis of the official trailer of No Time To Die.
