Dave Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Everything You Need to Know
Dave is finally coming back for Season 3 after a long break. During today’s Television Critiques Association demonstration, the network said that the new episodes of the award-winning show are coming sooner than later, with the initial two airing in the first week of April.
At the start of the show, the creator, as well as star Dave Burd, tried to prove to himself and everyone else that he might be one of the biggest artists of all time. Dave is now the main actor on a tour, which also means he will start to see the world in a completely new way in the new season.
And that’s not an exaggeration. Along with the comedy, Dave will use its trademark direct approach to stardom (now on a bigger scale), and during the new episodes, the main character will learn how becoming famous puts stress on his friendships, especially his love life, and friendships.
Who likes you, and who simply desires to be photographed with you? As Dave sees for himself how many different cultures there are in the United States, the new shows will also look quite different.
Now that “Atlanta” is over, the most popular rap-themed comedy show on FX will be returning for a third season this April. FXX said at the T.v Critics Association cold weather press conference on January 12 that the third season of “Dave” will start on April 5.
The show would then reportedly start on FXX only on Wednesday, April 5 at 10 p.m. ET. As new episodes come out every week, you can watch them on Hulu the next day. Dave will also be accessible on Star in Latin America and Disney+ underneath the STAR banner in every other international territory.

Dave Season 3 Plot
“Dear Mama” will be about how Tupac Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, who was a political activist as well as a member of the Black Panther Party and died in 2016, affected Tupac’s art and life.
The series is directed by Allen Hughes, who is best known for his work with his brother Albert Hughes and his 2017 documentary about Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre called “The Defiant Ones.” The story doesn’t go in order but jumps back and forth between Afeni and Tupac’s lives.
As the name suggests, “The New York Times Presents” is a series of investigative documentaries made by The New York Times for FX. It features reporting from veteran Times journalists, most famous for the “Framing Britney Spears” special that helped end the pop star’s conservatorship.
“Sin Eater” will be a two-part story about a private investigator named Anthony Pellicano. In the 1990s, he worked to hide this same scandal of Hollywood stars but was later convicted of wiretapping and racketeering. The whole FBI instance file against Pellicano, including voice tapes of his famous clients, will be part of the documentary.
“The Legacy of J Dilla” is a documentary about the impact of the late music producer as well as rapper J Dilla, who is most well-known for his collaborations with artists like Erykah Badu as well as D’Angelo. It includes interviews with his family that have never been seen before.
David Burd made Dave, wrote it, starred in it, and was in charge of it. He became famous when one of his videos went viral on YouTube. He became famous all over the world because of his hit song “Freaky Friday.” It showed off his sense of humor and paid a little tribute to the 2003 movie in which Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis switched bodies.
Now that the good news is out, the warmer weather of 2023 is heading to be happier and busier than ever. After months of waiting, the release date for the new season has finally been set!
The season will start on April 5, 2023, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FXX, and the next day it will be available to stream on Hulu, just like all the other original shows and movies that are only available on Hulu.
The show was made by Burd, Jeff Schaffer, Luvh Rakhe, Vanessa McGee, Kris Eber, Rob Rosell, Kevin Hart, Scooter Braun, Marty Bowen, Mike Hertz, James Shin, and Scott Manson from SB Projects. FX Productions is in charge of making the show.
Reports say that in Season 3, Dave Burd will be the main act on his first tour and will be seeking love all along the way. But when he and his friends cross the country, they see for themselves how many different cultures there are in the U.S., and how frequently fame puts more pressure on friendship and love.
