Leonardo DiCaprio in the first photo of Killers of the Flower Moon, Scorsese’s new film!

Shortly after the start of filming on Killers of the Flower Moon, the first official image of the film that will sign the new collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, for the first time alongside Robert De Niro in a film by the director.

Produced by Apple Studios, the film is based on the acclaimed best-selling book written by David Grann which chronicles the staggering series of “accidents”, poisonings and shootings that hit the naAmericans of the Osage Nation, most of whom had become rich thanks to the discovery of oil on their Oklahoma reservation.

To the left of the image, which you can find at the bottom of the news, we see Lily Gladstone (Certain Women, Billions) as Mollie Kyle, an Osage woman who inherited a vast fortune. At his side we find instead Di Caprio in the role of Ernest Burkhart, grandson of powerful farmer William Hale (played by De Niro) who used brute force to take control of his Oklahoma land.

In addition to them, the cast of the film will also include the great Al Pacino, Emmy Award nominee Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, Michael Abbott Jr., Scott Shepherd and Grammy Award winning songwriters Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson.
