Serufu finds out that Rei is in charge of the school’s Do-It-Yourself Club, which is struggling because it doesn’t have sufficient members, and that she enjoys making traditional crafts.
Serufu opts for joining the club when she realises that it might help her make up with Purin. She wants to get the group back together as friends by having them work on creative projects.
