While filming for Black Adam proceeds at full speed, the actor Zachary Levi appeared on the social network Instagram to tease fans about the start of production of Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
Via a new post on his official Instagram, Zachary Levi shared an image of his action figure of Shazam that stands out triumphantly in front of a blackboard. The accompanying caption, found at the bottom, reads: “Shazito. He landed. In Hotlanta“, signaling that production is about to begin in Atlanta, Georgia.
Likewise, the actress Marta Milanlans through her stories shared some images from the set of the film, which you always find at the end of the article.
With the filming of The Batman finished a few weeks ago, three cinecomic DC Films are currently in production: the already mentioned Black Adam, a spin-off linked to the saga of Shazam! (in the comics Black Adam is Shazam’s number one villain) directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring The Rock, The Flash by Andy Muschietti with Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton and now also Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
The new film in the saga will be directed once again by David F. Sandberg and will feature the return of much of the cast from the original film as well as the new entries Helen Mirren come Hespera, Lucy Liu come Kalypso and Rachel Zegler. The release date is set for June 2, 2023.
