What is a G20 summit?

Formally known as the 'Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy', the annual meeting of G20 members is called the G20 Summit. This year, the fifteenth such G20 summit is scheduled to take place in November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the major focus areas of the G20 summit is job creation and trade. It works closely with important organizations around the world. Recent editions of the G20 summit focus on global issues that affect the economy, including macroeconomic and trade. Some of the issues addressed before climate change, health, migration, terrorism, water crisis etc. are included.

The theme of the fifteenth G20 summit is (Realizing Opportunities of the 21st Century for All).
