Thanks to the overwhelming response to the first season of “The Escape of the Seven,” the second season has officially begun, with the premiere of the first episode airing on September 15 of this year. The seventh episode is scheduled for an October 13 release, and the series finale will air on November 17, 2023.
The series has earned widespread acclaim, prompting the creators to announce that March 2024 would see the premiere of Season 2. The release dates, however, are still up in the air.

Seven people from many walks of life get entangled in the tragic and convoluted investigation into a missing girl in this gripping drama.
A former mobster, a school art instructor, a gynecologist, the heads of an entertainment firm and a drama production company, a mystery mobile platform entrepreneur, and a washed-up idol all get caught in a web of falsehoods as the investigation heats up.
After the success of films like “The Last Empress” and “Penthouse,” Kim Sun-Ok and Joo Dong Min teamed together for the Korean drama “The Escape of the Seven.” The series centers on the search for a missing little child.
There are seven additional people engaged in this affair, and they are all very suspicious or offensive. Just like the case, they are warped and may betray anybody with selfish motives.
Matthew, a reclusive guy who has been represented by these seven people, has been living among them. He now serves as CEO of the largest mobile phone firm. When he becomes entangled in this case, he is forced out into the open.
The name Hwang Jung-Eum refers to the second persona. She is the chief executive officer of a production firm and the kind of person for whom wealth and achievement are the only acceptable goals in life.
Lee Joon is the following figure. Before, he was a member of the criminal underworld. He lacks the ambition of Jung Eum, and his propensity of trusting others too readily has led to several betrayals on the part of those closest to him.
Becoming an idol is Han Mo Ne’s ultimate aim in life. Her entire life has been a lie, even though she has had a rich upbringing and the support of loving friends and family. Cha Ju Ran and her roommate, Bang Chil Sung, are arguing about money and property.
Yang Jin Mo is the next person we’ll meet; he’s a kind, respectful guy. The fact that he has a short fuse and may become a savage monster when provoked is his primary source of anxiety. He is so self-centered and desperate that he will do anything to further his own interests.
Last but not least, there’s Ko Myung Ji, a fictional figure who excels in fabricating falsehoods for her own safety. She is able to lie at at the drop of a hat, regardless of the time of day or the company she is keeping.
Those are the seven people whose lives are irrevocably altered by their involvement in this strange case. The program shows how people’s lives change in response to events and obstacles by presenting some severe punishments and sometimes highly unsettling revenge tales.
Just six episodes have been released thus far. The conclusion to over fifty percent of the episodes is completely open. It’s tough to make predictions about what will happen in a program like this one, where so much is left to the viewer’s imagination.
So far, evidence indicates that the seven suspects escaped the island where they had been trapped and found a cryptic letter at their homes that might have a life-altering message on it. As their savior Matthew Lee arrives, he has an idea to protect them from the authorities.
