Deadline says that it was watched for 180.47 million hours, which is just a few million less than how many hours Bridgerton and Dahmer were watched for. It also pushed Wednesday off of the top spot, which only a huge force could do.
In January 2023, Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, mentioned the display as an instance of an Amazon video success, but he did so with an intriguing caveat.

Netflix would rather have shows that are popular all over the world than just in one country, but Ginny and Georgia are just so popular in the United States that they might be renewed soon. But those streaming numbers could explain how there has been so much delay.

Sarah Lampert, who made Ginny & Georgia and put out season two on Netflix, was contacted by Deadline a day after the second season came out.
Lampert said that there had been no talks to Netflix about a third season. “We must wait and see how it is doing and if there will be a season 3, but I hope there is because it will go to be a wild ride.”
But what could a third season of this show be like? Lampert said there are “a huge amount of really exciting opportunities” for those who will care for Ginny and Austin in the future.
She said, “If Georgia is charged with this crime, we possess Zion, who is Ginny’s dad, and now Gill is in the picture.” “I think he seemed to have no chance of getting custody before this since he was a convicted felon, but now we have Paul, who is the stepdad, so who knows?
“Because these characters are so deep, we have so many great story ideas to choose from,” Lampert said. “And based on the number of surprises humans want to hurl into Season 3, I’m being vague, but we do get it planned out.”
The show’s creator added that “honestly, anything could happen” about whether or not Paul will stay with Georgia. He also told viewers to keep watching to see if Joe and Georgia have a “romantic future” after all.
But even so, the Miller family might be closer than they have ever been. Lampert said, “Going into season 3 of Success, these same Millers are now on the same team. They’re a united front, which is interesting because we’ve never witnessed that before. We expended all of season 2 obtaining them there.”
Ginny and Marcus, what about them? Well, Lampert just says, “All bets are off,” and he adds that there might be “new characters.” If season 3 does happen, we can almost be sure that Lampert will focus more on Abby’s eating disorder and Ginny’s exploration of her own racial identity as well as “what safe zones exist for her.”
Ginny and Marcus aren’t any longer together, but they are still good friends, according to the predictions. Season 3 predictions could be about their friendship and whether or not they get back together. They could also go into more detail about Ginny forming a new romance and how it will affect Marcus.
