“I can’t say it isn’t rocky, and I can’t promise that it will work out for them, but I think it’s a really relocating, beautiful story that’s also really funny,” the author said.
He cites a scene in the season 2 premiere that he directed in which the three engages in full-on screwball humor, showcasing the performers’ comic prowess. It’s a five-minute sequence, but I would have done it quietly if I could.
