I am midway through the fifth season, and man, it has been difficult to get this far. Because she became such a spoiled brat in Black-ish, Zoey is even more of an unlikable character now that she is in college. Her inflated sense of self-worth, obsession with herself, and vanity are all quite off-putting.

Furthermore, despite Zoey’s abundance of luck, there is no proof that she actually toiled hard to gain any of her significant breaks. In the absurd situations she puts herself in, jane is always the victim.

I could never be friends with Zoey. My social circle is what brings me joy. You admire the Twins, Nomi, and Ana. The occasions where Yara tries to cry or be sad are agonizing. I’m eagerly anticipating Junior saving the show at this point because I could happily binge-watch him!
