Hajime No Ippo Chapter 1437 Storyline:
Ippo Makunouchi is an introverted teen who spends his time between school and helping his mother, Hiroko, run their fishing boat company. A group of bullies, led by Masahiko Umezawa, corner Ippo as he walks homewards one day.
Immediately, they begin assaulting him and make fun of his mother. The bullies are scared away as an unsuspecting jogger passes by. When Ippo blacks out, the jogger rushes him to a boxing gym, and he recovers from his wounds via vigorous training.
When Ippo finally comes to, he’s shocked to see so many boxers in training. Afterward, the jogger attempts to convince Ippo to strike a punching bag depicting the bully’s face.
The jogger receives a black eye, but he learns that Ippo packs a powerful punch. He sends him home with some cassettes of world-champion boxers to study.
Having been motivated to pursue his ambition to become a professional boxer by the videos, Ippo tracked out the jogger, professional fighter Mamoru Takamura, and begged him to coach him. Takamura kicks a tree & collects a bunch of leaves with his nimble hands as a test. He offers to teach Ippo if he can get the same results.
Ippo Makunouchi has spent his whole life being picked on. Ippo had always wanted to improve himself, but he lacked the motivation to do so while he was always doing errands and getting beat up by his peers.
When Ippo is being bullied again, a boxer named Takamura Mamoru comes to his rescue. After collapsing from his wounds, Ippo is taken to the Takamura boxing gym for treatment.
His newfound awareness at the gym fills him with wonder and amazement, but he lacks the courage to do anything yet. Ippo’s classmate’s picture is taped on a punching bag, and Takamura has him spar with it.
When Ippo begins to sense a change coming on inside of him, he approaches Takamura about boxing training. Takamura doubts Ippo’s ability and assigns him an impossible assignment with a week to do it.
Ippo’s unexpected motivation to grow stronger for the sake of himself and his tireless mother drives him to work tirelessly to meet the deadline. This is the beginning of Ippo’s rise to the highest point of the boxing world.
On October 18, 2023, “Hajime No Ippo Manga Chapter 1437” will be published as part of “Round 1437” in “Weekly Shnen Magazine 2023 Issue 47.”
