From the rise of the American alt-right to the delirium of white power and up to the Coronavirus Pandemic, all the social atrocities of recent years seem to have provided some good thematic material to David Gordon Green for his highly anticipated Halloween Kills, coming out. next October 2021.
In fact, Green himself declared to Empire Magazine: "This is a film about community fears, paranoia, misinformation and crowd panic. In my opinion, it's a great popcorn movie and doesn't have any big statements to make, but it's interesting how everything fits and fits into the plot. There couldn't be a more interesting time to release a film like this".
The co-writer Danny McBride explained that Halloween Kills takes place on the same night as Halloween in the 2018 film, therefore it will directly follow the events of the previous chapter, of which it will be a perfect continuation before the arrival of the final chapter, Halloween Ends.
The cast of Halloween Kills includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak e Robert Longstreet, with Charles Cyphers returning as Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Among others we also find Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle.
Michael Myers returns in the first teaser of the film that confirmed the slip to October 15, 2021 while recently David Gordon Green has unveiled a mystery about the franchise.
