In recent years, interest in Korean entertainment has grown exponentially over the world. TVN’s post-apocalyptic drama series Happiness is the most recent hit with this demographic. On December 11, 2021, the first season of the program aired its last episode. Since then, curiosity has been high about when Season 2 of Happiness will premiere. But I’m worried about season two. The time has come to find out.
Happiness Season 2 Renewal Status
A second season of the show does not seem likely at this time. Happiness, a Korean drama, did not leave viewers on any cliffhangers, but the show has plenty of admirers who think it should be continued. They think that viewers will remain interested since the tale might go in a variety of unexpected directions.
Despite what many viewers may believe, the second season of the K-drama Happiness has not been canceled despite the lack of official word from the streaming service. There have been whispers that the series might premiere in late 2022 or early 2023. It’s unclear if the program will be renewed or cancelled because of this silence. We don’t believe the drama’s second performance has been set in stone just yet.
Happiness Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Happiness has not yet been given a premiere date. Season 2 of Happiness is expected to launch on an OTT stream in late 2024, however this date has not been confirmed by the show’s creators as of yet.
Please check back for more details as they become available. In addition, the premiere date of Season 2 of Happiness will soon be announced formally, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Season 2 is under pressure to live up to the high standards set by Season 1, and we expect it to do so.
Happiness Story
During the worldwide epidemic that shut down the globe, the government of South Korea issued a new medication called Next. This drug promises to strengthen the battle against COVID and, by extension, enhance the lives of South Koreans. A side effect of the experimental medicine designed to treat pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is “madness,” as test subjects who were administered the treatment begin to suffer from mental instability and an overwhelming desire for human blood.
Yoon Sae-Bom meets Special Operations Unit trainee Lee Jong-Tae. Jong-Tae gives him the medicine and then takes some for himself. The truth of his bloodlust for human beings is then exposed. Sae-bom is scratched while attempting to pacify the trainee. Sae-Bom passes all of the tests at Tae-Seok’s top-secret lab without contracting the virus. In the midst of this upheaval, she approaches Yi-Hyun about getting married so that she may earn enough points to qualify for her ideal residence.
Her high school classmate, now a detective at the Seyang Police Station, is named Jung Yi-Hyun. She helps Yi-Hyun get the rights to the flat by having them legally register as a married couple. The local residents of this apartment building get infected with “Next,” leaving a trail of mystery for the police to unravel.

Happiness Season 2 Storyline
At the conclusion of the first season, Tae Seok took command of the situation, and the government began its search for antibodies. The situation, on the contrary hand, becomes worse in the apartment building. Han Tae Seok and his army troops show up to the complex to round up the residents. Those who need to be locked up should be segregated, and those who resist arrest.
Na Hyun-Kyung’s older brother tested positive for the antibodies at the same time. The audience was led to believe that the ancient couple had the same issue. The results of this study give us reason to believe that many others have also produced antibodies.
This allows us to control the situation. The action of the story spans a whole calendar year. As far as we could tell, life came back to normal. Sae-Bom and Yi Hyun are shown as a married couple that lives together in bliss.
When Season 2 of Happiness finally premieres, I’m looking forward to seeing what the program has in store for its viewers. The story may continue from where the first season left off in the second. One possible upside is that it will introduce fresh plot points and characters to the big screen. Sae-Bom and Yi Hyun’s love story will be expanded upon if the show is renewed for a second season.
Happiness Season 2 Trailer
For obvious reasons, the trailer for Season 2 of Happiness is not yet accessible. No information on Season 2 of Happiness or its renewal has been made public by the producers. As a result, there is currently no sneak peek of the future season accessible. Below, however, is the first season Happiness trailer:
Where to watch Happiness Season 2?
It’s probable that Season 2 of Happiness will use the same streaming service as Season 1. If the next season is greenlit, both Netflix and the show’s official streaming service, TVN, will host the debut.
Conclusion
At this time, a second season of Happiness is quite unlikely. When Netflix chooses a Kdrama for its international audience, some fans assume it will air for an extended period of time. In addition, this K-drama is rapidly rising in popularity. The streaming service may also include further episodes of Happiness or a related offshoot.
