In recent days Warner Bros. has revealed the desire to expand the world of Harry Potter by appointing Tom Ascheim to head all the properties of the Wizarding World, and now has arrived the confirmation of a news that has been in the air for some time now: HBO Max is working on a Harry Potter series.
As revealed exclusively by the authoritative Hollywood Reporter, in fact, the executives of the company have already initiated multiple conversations with potential screenwriters with the aim of bringing the franchise to the small screen. However, several sources claim that the project it is still in the early exploratory stages and that Warner Bros. reiterated to THR that "there are no Harry Potter series in development by the studio and the streaming platform."
