The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Everything You Need to Know

I’ve been laughing a lot while watching the third season of A Sex Lives of College Girls on HBO Max. This show seems like it could go on for a long time, maybe even longer than college, since season 2 is still about the main characters’ debut year at Essex College. (I would say semester, but on this show they have trimesters.)

What about the third season? Isn’t it true that a lot of HBO shows just got cancelled? Some shows that have been cancelled recently are Made For Love, The Time Traveler’s Wife, At Residence To Amy Sedaris, and Raised By Wolves. Here is what we know and what we don’t know about season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls.

The Sex Lives of College Girls has been picked up for a third season by HBO Max. This is a great time to talk about the new season. In the last episode of Sex Lives of College Girls season 2, many of the girls were in trouble. Kimberley (Pauline Chalamet) enjoyed Noah (Christopher Meyer) and decided to kiss him, but she didn’t tell Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott).

Whitney moved into the Kappa house after she saw Kimberly and Canaan kiss, but Kimberly didn’t tell her about it. After being kicked off the Foxy and thrown out of her new home, Bela (Amrit Kaur) chose to change schools. Just what would happen in the third season? Here’s what we know so far about season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls.

The coming-of-age show about four students at a liberal arts college in New England was picked up for a third season this week, before the last two episodes of season 2 came out on December 15. Fans are happy that viewers will be able to go back to the made-up Essex College after a number of shows on the streaming service were cancelled.

Suzanna Makkos, executive vice president of new comedy and adult animation at HBO Max, stated in a statement, “Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble proceed to brilliantly capture this same college experience in an entertaining and relatable way.” “This show has just the right amount of comedy, sex, mystery, and chaos, as well as we can’t anticipate what will happen in the next season.”

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 Release Date

As of now, there’s no set date for when Season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls will start, but we can guess based on the first two seasons. The first season came out during the cold season of 2021, and the second season came out during the cold of 2022. So, Season 3 of The Sex Lives of College Girls should come out in the winter of 2023 if the creators, cast, or crew keep up the good work.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 Trailer

There is no new new trailer or trailer again for third season on the streaming platform. We recommend that you watch the official trailer for season two. It shows that the show was formed by Emmy-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling or Justin Noble, and that the third season will continue to follow the story of four college roommates at prestigious Essex College in New England.

Also, Season Two starts when the students come back from fall break. They have to deal with the problems that came up at the conclusion of Season One and get ready for a new semester full of new people, parties, and problems.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 Plot

While we wait for official plot details, we know that many of our unanswered questions will be answered, like whether Bela will ever go back to Essex College and whether Amrit Kaur will leave the show for good. Is there a chance that Whitney and Kimberly will get along again? Also, could Leighton ever accomplish anything with Alicia the second time around?

We don’t know much about the plot yet, but the season two finale hints at some big changes to come. Whitney’s ex-boyfriend Canaan falls for Kimberly, and the two of them finally kiss on school grounds while Whitney, who doesn’t know what’s going on, watches with a broken heart. Even though Kimberly doesn’t know what her roommate saw, Whitney marches to her sorority and asks to move in among her Kappa sisters because she feels betrayed. That’s one less roommate.

Leighton gets back alongwith Alicia (Midori Francis), her girlfriend from season 1, after breaking up with Tatum, who looks just like her. She was excited to move into Kappa house, but she changed her plans after an alumnus or donor made offensive comments regarding queer or nonbinary people.

And as for Bela, well, where do we even start with her? She made a series of bad choices in season 2, and when a want tobe comedy writer asked her for advice, she told him to give up. (Her cruel criticisms also recieved her kicked off the Internet.) After a lot of thought, Bela realises that she keeps hurting people, so she talks to the dean and asks to switch schools. So, that’s one less roommate.

Will Bela ever go home to Essex College, or are Amrit Kaur gone from the show for good? Is there a chance that Whitney and Kimberly will get back together? And can Leighton and Alicia make things work this time? We are full of questions!
