Coronavirus in India: To fight the corona virus, the IITs, IISc and other educational institutes of the country are creating new apps that can help people stay away from the disease. In this series, the Indian Institute and Sciences (IISc) has now developed a mobile app which will help people to keep away from corona infection. This app is named 'Go Corona Go'.
The "GoCoronaGo" app has been developed by a team at IISc, which can help identify people who have passed around COVID-19 suspects. Since COVID-19 is a communicable disease on contact, this app will help people to maintain social distancing among themselves.
Tarun Rambha, a faculty member at IISc, said, "This application will help identify people who have met or passed on COVID-19 infected individuals or suspects in the last few days using Bluetooth and GPS. . This app understands the trend of infection risk by using temporary network analytics to identify people more susceptible to disease spread. ”
“It will also provide alerts on isolation and proximity scores and will help increase social distance. Rambha said that for those who are in Quarantine, this app also provides the ability to apply geo-fencing, and also has the ability to show their symptoms that can be used for risk assessment. "
