Inception Part 2 Storyline:
The movie has received a second part renewal from Amazon Prime Video. Only a few elements concerning the second half of Inception are known, thus we can only infer some things about the plot. However, we can anticipate that the tale will continue where it left off in the last movie in the future installment.
Cobb & Arthur are “extractors” who conduct corporate espionage utilizing cutting-edge dream-sharing technology to get access to and gather information from their targets’ subconscious minds.
Saito, their most recent victim, is intrigued by Cobb’s capacity to stack several fantasies inside of one another. In order to undertake “inception” on Robert, the son of Saito’s rival Maurice Fischer, with the notion to dissolve his father’s business, he offers to recruit Cobb for the ostensibly hard task of doing so. Cobb will be able to go back to live with his kids once Saito pledges to clean up his criminal record.
Cobb accepts the offer & gathers his crew, which includes a college student called Ariadne, a scientist named Yusuf, and a forger named Eames. Cobb assigns Ariadne the responsibility of creating the dream’s architecture because he is afraid that a projection of his late wife, Mal, would undermine him.
When Maurice passes away, the group sedates Robert and puts him into a three-layered shared dream while flying to America. One member stays behind on each tier to execute a music-synchronized “kick” to simultaneously awaken dreamers on the three levels. Time on each layer moves more slowly than time on the layer above.
On the first level, the crew kidnaps Robert in a metropolis, but his unconscious projections fight back. Cobb discloses after Saito is hurt that although passing out in a dream would often cause dreamers to awaken, Yusuf’s sedatives would instead cause them to enter “Limbo,” a realm of the endless subconscious. Eames introduces the concept of an alternative will to dissolve the corporation by posing as Robert’s godfather, Peter Browning.
Cobb reveals to Ariadne that he and Mal experimented with dream sharing and went into Limbo, where they spent one night living fifty years in one owing to the time dilation with reality.
Cobb decides to perform Inception on Mal in order to persuade her to return to actuality when Mal refuses to do so. Mal was still certain she was dreaming when she awoke. She attempted to “wake up,” then killed herself and set up Cobb to follow suit. Cobb left his kids behind when he left the country.
Even if you watch it 10 times in a row, you wouldn’t mind doing it again. Even if we may not be able to witness Inception Part 2, we can always watch Part 1 again. So let’s take a trip down memory lane and go back to 2010! Dom Cobb & his outstanding trio of three are now in the picture.
His ultimate goal—raiding the future—begins now. The only thing left to do is to implant inception into Robert’s brain. Saito was the plan’s creator, but Cobb was always its main proponent. Saito recruited Cobb to carry out his enormous task because he intended to destroy Maurice’s economic empire.
But nobody anticipated how difficult this path would be. Eames, Yusuf, & Ariadne began developing the dream’s architecture when Cobb got a hold of them. The rollercoaster ride started once the first three levels were established.
Here is where science takes over everyone’s life, where the future and the present collide, and where the struggle to survive and discover the ultimate truth starts.
