Two Central Reserve Police Power (CRPF) personnel had been injured in an IED blast, triggered by Maoist Guerrillas, on the outskirts of Ranchi on Sunday, December 8. The safety personnel had been returning after conducting polls at Tamar meeting seat.
The injured have been admitted to a Ranchi hospital.
On Saturday, Maoist Guerrillas had attacked safety personnel at Arki of Khuti district. The Maoists escaped after safety forces retaliated.
The second part of polling came about on Saturday on 20 meeting seats of the state. The polling was 64 per cent which is about 4 per cent decrease compared to 2014.
