Two weeks after the official release of the expected Spiral – Saw’s legacy, it’s thanks to Bloody Disgusting that we can show you a first official clip of the ninth chapter of the horror franchise directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and with the greats as protagonists Chris Rock e Samuel L. Jakcson in a new investigation.
Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols e Zoie Palmer are the co-stars of the film, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, veteran of the saga already behind Saw II from 2005, Saw III e Saw IV. The screenplay was written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger and follows the arrival in town of a sadistic mind, who unleashes a twisted form of justice on criminals. Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Rock), along with his fledgling colleague (Minghella), will have to deal with the macabre investigation that begins after this perplexing serial killings, reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past.
The American release of Spiral: Saw’s legacy is scheduled for next May 14 and in Italy Leone Film Group has announced the film will just be released a month later, on June 16, 2021. Furthermore, according to what has been revealed in recent weeks by Bloody Disgusting, a Saw 10 would already be in development, even if the success of production will obviously depend on Spiral’s reception.
