Spiderman Across The Spider Verse Part 2 Storyline:

The first film introduced a number of different Spider-characters, including Peter B. Parker, Spider-Man Noir, or Spider-Woman; the second film plans to vastly increase that number.

Spider-Man 2099 & Spider-Punk will also be making appearances with returning cast members Gwen Stacy and Peter B. Parker. From what we can tell from the trailers, all of the Spider-heroes from around the universe are in danger, and when they can’t agree on how to fight the baddies, they’ll have to square off against Miles Morales. Spider-Man 2099 takes saving the world very seriously; the teasers show Gwen heading to Miles, maybe to warn him.

The vulture & the spot, however, are not the only antagonists in the film. While Vulture’s popularity soared with Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spot is only now making his big screen debut.

In the Marvel Comics universe, he is a man with the ability to create portals to any location, even other dimensions. The Spot certainly open up portals into the multiverse, potentially beginning to unstring the Web of Life.

The teasers have hinted that Spider-Man 2099 with his Spider-Society would be out to get Miles, but the film’s actual enemy has yet to be revealed.

After the conclusion of the first film, Stacy, as Spider-Woman from all dimensions, approaches Morales and asks for his assistance on a dangerous mission that might rescue every Spider-Man from all dimensions.

Morales and Stacy team up with a supergroup of Spider-Man defenders comprised of web-slingers from other realms to stop a shadowy new villain on the prowl with abilities that endanger several realities.

Together, they formulate a strategy to aid in the defeat of their strange new enemy; yet, as Morales find himself at war with the leader’s big plan, the task of saving the day gets exponentially more difficult.

The official synopsis reads: “Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that takes Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse and join forces with Gwen Stacy as well as a new team of Spider-People as they face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”

And, as revealed by the authors to Entertainment Weekly, “Miles will reconnect with some old friends & meet… a lot of new ones.” It will be a “continuation of the tale of Miles Morales,” Powers stated during a recent visit at CinemaCon, “bringing in numerous characters, both familiar and unfamiliar, on a similar emotional journey.”

“It’s been over a year since the conclusion of the first movie, and he’s continuing to investigate what it means to be a superhero,” he said, promising that the film will demonstrate that “how you wear a costume is what make you a hero.”

Director Kemp Powers (Soul) has revealed the identity of the film’s formidable antagonist; it’s an unexpected choice. The Spot (Jason Schwartzman) will be this film’s villain instead of a major character like Green Goblin and Doc Ock because of his ability to travel across universes with ease. We are also aware there is going to be a huge cast of unique individuals there.

In Earth-65, George Stacy, police captain, has no idea that his daughter Gwen is really Spider-Woman. Years ago, while Peter Parker was out on the run as the Lizard, Gwen accidently killed him, and the police have been on her tail ever since.

Gwen meets a Vulture one night who is from a parallel dimension where the Italian Renaissance occurred. Gwen is aided in defeating the vampire by Miguel O’Hara and Jess Drew, who enter via vortex created by their watches.

When George confronts Gwen, she confesses who she really is, and he tries to arrest her before he backs down. To help Gwen and Jess get away, Miguel grudgingly accepts her into the Spider-Society.

Miles Morales meets the Spot, an Alchemax scientist who’s body was infected with portals after the collider explosion, in Brooklyn, Earth-1610, sixteen years after the collider’s destruction.

The Spot places the responsibility on Miles, explaining that the spider from Earth-42 bit Miles during collider testing, transforming him into Spider-Man.

The Spot then teleports into the abyss by mistake, where he visits parallel dimensions equipped with Alchemax colliders to supercharge himself even more.

However, we do know that the sequel will not include the whole plot, since it has been verified to be a two-part event. In an interview with EW that appeared in December 2021, Lord & Miller discussed the sequel’s split into two films. “Miles’ tale is really amazing.

“We scripted what we felt the tale ought to be, then to our astonishment, we found it was two films instead of one. We’re developing them both while we speak.”

Gwen has discovered a way to rejoin with Miles in his realm, as depicted in the teaser, which leaves the door open for further crossovers between familiar and unfamiliar faces in the sequel.
