“Say Yes to the Prom” is back for its 11th year in Atlanta and Los Angeles, with Macy’s and Men’s Wearhouse as returning retail partners to help certainly worthy high school students find the perfect prom look. After the ultimate full-day “shopping” experience, Monte Durham from TLC’s “Say Yes to a Dress: Atlanta” will give each of the 1,000 students a personal styling session.
Durham and volunteer employees from Macy’s, DirecTV, and Warner Bros. Revelation will take the students shopping, where they can select from 1,000 dresses, shoes, and apparel to complete their looks. Men’s Wearhouse can also help students find the right size for a tuxedo rental. CNN stylists will be on hand to help people with their hair and makeup.
On February 6 and 7, filming will help raise money for Atlanta Public Schools. From March 7 to 9, filming will help raise money for LAUSD. Warner Bros. Discovery staff members will also help Becca’s Closet by collecting dresses and suits. Through partnerships with Emma Bowen Foundation, this same Posse Foundation, as well as the T. Howard Foundation, “Say Yes to the Prom” will offer scholarships, mentorships, and internships.
