Netflix's agreement with the Dark Horse publishing house continues to be prolific: this time Lady Killer Joëlle Jones and Jamie S. Rich will receive an adaptation by Diabo Cody and starring Blake Lively.
After Polar, Mystery Girl and the hit series The Umbrella Academy, Dark Horse provides more material to the streaming platform Netflix to enrich your catalog.
The Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody she was in fact hired to adapt the comic series Lady Killer, published in 2015 by Joëlle Jones and Jamie S. Rich and also nominated for an Eisner Award the following year.
The protagonist of the film will be the actress of Gossip Girl and Un Piccolo Favore Blake Lively who will play the role of Josie Schuller "aShe looks like the perfect 1950s housewife, but when she's not there to care for her family's needs, she leads a secret life as a professional killer. A job that she really likes, and about which her husband knows absolutely nothing".
The film will be produced by Lively and Kate Vorhoff herself for B for Effort and by Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg of Dark Horse Entertainment.
