Loki Season 2 Storyline:
Season one ended with a catastrophic catastrophe that created numerous worlds, as was expected. Many people thought that this occurrence served as the catalyst for the unrest shown in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” in which Wanda was a crucial character.
It would have been easy to link the two stories, in part since the Scarlet Witch is seen as a Nexus Being, thus tying the two tales together. Later, in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in December 2021, the multiverse’s effects were made clear.
All of these characters might be discovered existing in a single timeline at that point. It’s interesting to note that the events of “Loki” were not even mentioned in the scene following the credits, allowing Loki to deal with Sylvie’s treachery and the fallout on his own.

In an appearance with Deadline, Michael Waldron, the writer of Dr. Strange and Loki, outlined his justification for keeping the two distinct. Waldron stated this in reference to Kang’s absence in Doctor Strange: “To me, it seemed like we had the largest and finest bullet in Wanda.
“We can’t let another movie have that fun,” I remarked while I was working with Sam (Raimi). “We ought to really make the decision of making Wanda the antagonist in this film.”
“If you had included Kang, you would have run the risk of the movie becoming overstuffed,” he said.
It makes perfect sense to want to give Wanda a little time to breathe so she can do her thing. What does it signify for Kang, however, given his varied involvement?
The scriptwriter said during conversations over Kang’s narrative participation in season two: “For me, the sole reason for doing the program in the initial place is that we will discover a fresh tale to tell using this character.
“It seems that we needed to explore fresh emotional terrain with Loki. Season two may only be accessed in that manner. We really believe that it’s a fantastic continuation of that narrative, one that differs from season one and, hopefully, defies expectations.
Loki is still dealing with Sylvie’s treachery and the consequences regarding what she did.
An unlimited number of Kang’s (He Who Remains) clones will emerge after his death and seize power over the universe. With the appearance of Kang’s monument, we’ve already seen it happening in “our” Time Variance Authority. As previously said, Jonathan Majors’ legal status throws all Kang business into doubt, although it is certain that he will play a significant role in season two.
