Until recently, there were a number of online rumors suggesting that season 3 was already in production. However, there has been no formal announcement that ‘Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions’ season 3 would occur from Kyoto Animation or any other entity engaged in the anime’s creation.
So, will a third season be produced? As soon as the 2018 movie wrapped up any remaining loose ends, the odds quickly decreased.

The Delusions of Love, Chunibyo, and Others A second anime movie is titled Take on Me. The phrase “the film that connected all the loose ends” was used in the earlier section of this article to describe this. The anime’s second season, which began on January 6, 2018, served as a continuation and the series’ climax.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions Season 3 Storyline:
As a result of his “chunibyo,” junior high school student Yuta Togashi identified as the “Dark Flame Master,” setting himself apart from his friends. He also believed he had supernatural powers.
Yuta, who feels bad about his past, wants to start high school and be rid of his old illusions. This becomes an issue, however, when Rikka Takanashi, a wild student in his class, learns about Yuta’s past and shows an interest in him.
As the story progresses, Rikka becomes more and more attached to Yuta, who accepts her despite finding her delusions annoying and embarrassing. He helps Rikka in many ways, including establishing and managing her club and guiding her.
Along with the always dozing Kumin Tsuyuri, the “Far-East Magical Napping Society—Summer Thereof” also includes the past chunibyo Shinka Nibutani and the present chunibyo Sanae Dekomori.
Yuta finds out that Rikka’s father, to whom she had a strong attachment, had passed very suddenly two years before due to a terminal disease, which has caused her to fall into her delusions.
Yuta accompanies Rikka on her summer vacation. After agreeing to help Rikka in her search for the “Ethereal Horizon,” which she thinks would lead her to her father, Yuta develops a love attraction to him.
The Japanese light book series, by Torako and Nozomi Saka, is the inspiration for the anime series. In “Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions,” two high school students named Yta and Rikka, each of whom has a different Chunibyo (delusion), have a healthy love tale.
A straight sequel to the narrative that was published in 2018 has been made available in the form of a pair of seasons and a movie from the anime.

In the post-credits sequence of the anime, Yta eventually acknowledges his feelings for Rikka. Yta, on the other hand, returns home. The distance between Rikka’s previous home and new one is two flights of steps.
Yata comes to the realization that Rikka was more than one thing that made him fall in love to her as she lowers on a rope. This scenario is made much more moving by the knowledge that Yata formerly found Rikka to be so annoying. The shared experiences they’ve created over the years are a witness to their growing passion for one another.
Should the anime be revived, both Yta and Rikka may have a prominent part in the third season. Even if their relationship seemed to have an enjoyable conclusion in the movie, the forthcoming season may need us to turn elsewhere for love.
