She told Radio Times, “Sometimes we come up with ideas for plots. Jason & I are both very interested in a holiday movie.”
“McDonald loves Tenerife, so we believe it would be wonderful to set a movie there, especially since we film in the winter.
Dodds is wearing Bermuda shorts. I believe it would be a great chance to make a lot of funny jokes. That’s what I’ll say.”
Gouveia also hinted at what might be next for her character, saying, “It’s odd because when you portray an individual, you start to care about them, and therefore desire to bring good things to them.”
McDonald and Dodds, a pair of oddball detectives, will return to lovely Bath in season 3, but they will have to deal with four fresh-out-of-the-box murder secrets.
