Confirmation comes from Variety. Knoll's novel became a New York Times best-seller since its release in 2015.
The luckiest girl in the world tells the story of Ani Fanelli (Mila Kunis), who from the outside seems to have it all: she works in a glamor magazine, has a perfect boyfriend and a fabulous apartment in New York. However, as is the case in most detective novels, Ani survived a series of unspoken tragedies in her past which, to overcome, she actually transformed into an entirely different person.
Only a sudden event will confront her with her past, which Ani will be forced to face.
When the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the story about a shocking incident that occurred as a young girl, Ani will have to defend herself from a dark truth that threatens to destroy her existence.
Mila Kunis is also involved in the project as executive producer, thanks to the collaboration with Made Up Stories and Orchard Farm Productions.
As for the next projects of the streaming giant, the film about Roberto Baggio is coming to Netflix while Tua forever, the film with Noah Centineo is available from 12 February.
