Everett Downing Jr. and Patrick Harpin made the My Dad the Bounty Hunter series and are also in charge of it. During a preview presentation, Netflix let Cartoon Brew see what unfolds behind the scenes at Dwarf Animation Studio.
While working on the show, Patrick Harpin told Cartoon Brew what he thought about it. He says, “This crazy, action-packed comedy is kind of a love letter to graphics, science fiction, as well as Black families.”
Shakira Presley wrote the script with creators Everett Downey Jr. and Patrick Harpin. She has written scripts for hit animated shows like Craig of a Creek, The Creature Cases, and Benny and the Beat.
