Noragami Season 3 Storyline:
Hiyori Iki was a typical middle school student up until the moment she was hurt in a bus accident while trying to help a stranger. As a consequence of this happening, her spirit starts to often leave her body, and she discovers that there have two parallel worlds: the Near Shore, which is inhabited by animals and regular people, and the Far Shore, which is home to demons and human souls. Through her spirit, she communicates with Yato, a strange, unidentified deity without a shrine.
Hiyori’s desire to get her body mended is one of many requests that Yato would fulfill for 5 yen in order to earn fame. The party embarks on a number of adventures with Yukine and Yato’s Regalia, a weapon created from the soul of a departed person and given a name by the god in question, while resolving difficulties pertaining to their relationship, identities, and pasts.
Along with her parents, Hiyori travels to a ski resort where she meets Yato, Yukine, Kofuku, Daikoku, Tenjin, Kazuma, & Bishamon. Unknown person attacks Yato but becomes alarmed when Yato survives.
He makes many efforts to murder Yato using various weapons, including poison, arrows, fire, a rifle, & others. Yato admits to all of his wrongdoings and identifies many individuals while looking for the murderer, including Kazuma, Bishamon, Tenjin, & others.
The guy kidnaps Yato and throws her from a cliff into the water. Naturally, Yato is still alive, and the guy claims that because he was not realistic, he was using it as study for his mystery novels. Unexpectedly, the man chooses to believe Yato after learning that the man is a divinity.
When Yato invites her to Capypa Land, Hiyori is frightened since it is where she was coerced into kissing Yato. Kofuku and Daikoku appear as Bishamon and Kazuma hunt for Ebisu in Capypa Land because Kofuku has asked Daikoku out on the first date in 20 years. Bishamon enjoys spending time with Kazuma as she finally relaxes. As they observe the parade and want to go, Yato notices Hiyori’s despair.
When Hiyori phones him back, she expresses her desire for them to be together. The Capypers are revealed to be old men dressed as monsters when Kofuku initiates a Vent.
Yato is shocked by this since he thought they were real. He is comforted by Hiyori, who also informs Yukine that she wishes Yato to pursue his goals.
We would see Yato’s real self, his evil side, and his terrible history in the third season. Yato is pardoned by Bishamon, whose first family was murdered by him, and he desires to become a god with millions of worshipers in order to attain the golden shine.
He will begin putting together his allies for the same. Additionally, we will witness Yato’s ex-Regalia arrive to exact vengeance on Yato and understand why. Yato is unaware of Nora’s immense strength.
We will also learn more about Ebisu, the God of Fortune in the parallel universe who eventually turned out to be a criminal after using ghosts to develop the parallel universe.
No God would be pleased with his method of operation, & many of them would plot his murder. Yukine will assist Yato in becoming the God of Fortune in the meantime. The third installment would also show how the story would affect Hiyori, Yato, and Yukine’s friendship.
The current season’s plot heavily references the previous seasons’. So allow us to provide you with a brief recap of previous seasons. The heroine of this tale, Hiyori Iki, had a bus accident that drastically altered her life.
She was Ayakashi at that time, a character who can live in a parallel universe, and she lost her soul. The plot then turned around two other universes since it had become so terrible.
She later met Yota, who she soon got close with in a parallel universe. Yato’s true personality will be exposed in the third installment, and Yato’s ambition to become a deity will be shown.
