The show takes place in Los Angeles in 1933. In the new episodes, which come to a total of eight, Perry has decided to move off the farm and gotten rid of his milk truck. By the conclusion of the first season, Perry has gained a new purpose and is a full-fledged defence attorney. He and Della Street (Juliet Rylance) and detective Paul Drake have started Mason and Associates (Chris Chalk). During the first season of the show, Perry, Paul, and Della all stood up to the system. By doing so, they were able to find themselves or figure out what they wanted out of life. Now that Perry seems to be an attorney and also has gotten rid of some of the things that were holding him back in the beginning, he will pursue justice in a new case in the second season.
