Emily Blunt hunted by monsters in the disturbing final trailer for A Quiet Place 2

As anticipated by yesterday’s teaser, Paramount Pictures released the final trailer for A Quiet Place II, new episode of the horror saga written, directed and starring John Krasinski.

Over a year after the original release date, the sequel to A Quiet Placeis finally preparing to hit theaters around the world in May and the release of this adrenaline-pumping and disturbing final trailer confirms it. Krasinski, who returns to the director’s chair, also wrote the screenplay for “Part II“, with his wife Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds stars of the new episode.

Blunt, who won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in the first film, is now the head of the Abbott family, who in Part II she is forced to leave her farm and face the terrors of the outside world. Venturing into the unknown, the protagonists quickly realize that the creatures that hunt through sound aren’t the only threats lurking in the post-apocalyptic world. New additions to the cast include Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou, in the role of other survivors that the protagonists will meet along their journey.

A Quiet Place Part II was originally slated for a theatrical release on March 20, 2020. The pandemic prompted Paramount to postpone the film until September 4, 2020 and then April 23, 2021, but a third delay pushed the film to September 17, 2021. Paramount has decided to anticipate the release until the end of May 2021, and now that theaters have begun to reopen around the world, John Krasinski’s film is finally preparing for its debut.
