Rebel Moon- Part 1: A Child Of Fire Storyline:

The official plot summary reads as follows: “When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy sees itself threatened by the military might of a tyrannical ruler force, Kora (Boutella), a mysterious stranger hidden amongst the villagers, becomes their sole hope for survival.”

It continues: “Tasked with locating skilled soldiers who would combine with her to take an impossible stand toward the Ruler of the World, Kora assembles a small group of warriors—outsiders, rebels, peasants, & orphans of war from many worlds—who share a shared thirst for atonement and retribution.

A new group of heroes emerges as the destiny of the galaxy hangs in the balance and the weight of a whole kingdom descends upon the unlikeliest of moons.

It’s already been revealed that this will be just the first half that was envisioned as a two-part picture, with both parts having been filmed back to back, so it appears like it will undoubtedly be amazing in size and scope.

According to the film’s official description, Kora (Boutella), a stranger with a mystery background, starts a new life amid a tranquil colony of farmers after crash landing on a moon in the outer reaches of the space.

When the tyrannical Regent Balisarius (Fee) as well as his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Skrein), find out the farmers sold the crops to the Bloodaxes (Coleman and Fisher), leaders of a fierce collection of insurgents captured by the Mother world, she quickly becomes their only hope of survival.

Kora and Gunnar (Huisman), a kind-hearted farmer naive to the realities of war, are tasked with finding fighters willing to risk their lives to defend the people of Veldt.

Along the way, they assemble a small band of warriors who share a common need for redemption, including Kai (Hunnam), a pilot as well as gun for hire; General Titus (Hounsou), a legendary commander; Nemesis (Doona), a master

Jimmy (Hopkins), a venerable but dormant mechanical guardian, returns to Veldt with renewed vigor. But the newly formed rebels have to gain confidence in other people and fight together before the troops of the Mother world arrive to annihilate them all.”

In July of 2021, Zack Snyder said to the Hollywood Reporter, “I’ve spent the past two or three years setting up this world. The walls must be painted from every angle. To bring this universe to fruition, I’ve been producing designs, sketching frequently, and tending to its rich soils.

Snyder also revealed to Empire that Rebel Moon was initially going to be a Star Wars feature as he submitted the concept to Lucasfilm, but it didn’t come to be as he didn’t want to utilize any of the franchise’s characters and wanted “to do [his] own thing on the side.”

The film’s narrative was adapted from an issue of Star Wars magazine. under a world dominated by the corrupt Mom World government, the moon of Veldt is under danger from the Imperium, the Mother World’s army under Regent Balisarius.

Kora, a former member of the Imperium, seeks penance for her role as leader of the oppressive government by rallying warriors from throughout the galaxy to stand in opposition to the Mother World’s troops before they returned to Earth.
