As Shoresy got better at surfing, he began to compete in local events. He was determined to be the best beach bum he could be, so he worked very hard and trained all the time.
Shoresy was always humble and nice, and he never let his success make him arrogant. He stayed a well-liked member of his society, always ready to lend a hand or say something nice. Shoresy’s love for surfers never went away, and as he got older, he still surfed every chance he got. Everyone who knew him loved seeing him on the coasts of his home town.
