Single Drunk Female Season 2 storyline:

Samantha Fink, who is in her 20s, almost goes to jail after she has a public meltdown and gets fired from her job. But she can avoid this if she gets clean, which means she has to move to her hometown again.

And it’s the hardest thing she has to do. Since moving back in with her controlling mother, Carol’s problems have only gotten worse as the poltergeists of her past come back to haunt her. Will Samantha be able to change her life and discover an improved version of herself?

The teaser for The Single Drunk Female shows that the story is about Samantha Fink, who goes by the name Sam and is in her twenties.

Sam loses her job when she gets into a battle at work that has to do with alcohol. Now that she has to move in with her mother, she has to deal with forced sobriety, a new job, a breakup, and maybe even a chance to make up with people she’s hurt while she was high.

The season 2 of the comedy series will pick up where the first one left off, which means you can anticipate to see Sam’s adventures as she makes a decision whether to change her life or keep making excuses.

Samantha Fink is a heavy drinker who recently made a very embarrassing mistake in public. She is now given just one chance to stay out of jail. It is very important that she stays clean and goes back to live to her strict mother, Carol.

When Samantha goes back to the Boston area, she attempts to make this same best of her situation.

Unfortunately, it’s much easier to say this than to do it. Samantha is forced to face the terrible things that happened to her in the past, which are the main reasons she became an alcoholic.

Then there is Samantha’s mother, who was notably absent when Samantha was a child but now gets involved in everything and gives her daughter advice.

At first, Samantha doesn’t want to modify, but when Brit, her best friend from childhood, tells her something she wasn’t expecting, Samantha has to admit that she can’t keep partying like she used to.

Rating:

Both critics and viewers have had mixed things to say about Single Drunk Female. Even though the show only has a 6.8 out of 10 rating on IMDb, it has a high 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Review:

As a 26-year-old woman in recovery, this talk was just what my soul needed. It helps change the way people think about how alcoholics look. Usually, there’s not a homeless man with such a brown paper bag willing to stand by the road.

Several of Sam’s thoughts and feelings about getting better are real and honest. Her mother’s character is also very important because many people have the same naive view of addiction as she did, and we have to deal with them all the time.

During the first two episodes, I couldn’t stop crying. It’s an honor to have your voice heard and to have your story is told on TV. Amazingly, thousands of individuals can relate to this show, even though most young alcoholics stay in denial or don’t talk about it.

I am praying and hoping for many seasons to come! This show makes fun of the worst things that can happen in life. I like it when a cast has a lot of different kinds of characters and personalities.

I think they’ve done a good job with the program and the topic so far, but I’d like to see each other focus more on the self-work she needs to do, the times when she’s going to struggle, and how she gets through those times when she’s alone.

How Many Episodes Will There Be in Season 2 of Single Drunk Female?
