A couple of months after releasing its rolled out feature for beta testers, Skype has taken its game to another level by launching screen sharing for both iOS and Android devices.
The new feature is expected to be a valuable tool for users. It makes video calls more interesting and easier whether for work or personal purposes. It also supports content sharing.
For instance, if you are working on a team, you can share information such as infographics and what have you with your teammates on a screen or do anything else you wish to share with someone.
You can access this new feature via the “…” menu. This is located at the bottom right corner when having a video call.
Other features in this unique menu include subtitles, call recording. You can also add people via the menu as well.
When you are using this feature, you will be notified that you are sharing the screen with someone else through a banner place at the top of the screen.
The feature is available for iOS on 1OS 12 and higher as well as Android device users. To activate this feature, it is mandatory that you visit the App Store or Google Play to download the most recent Skype version from either of the stores.
When you tap the three dots located at the bottom of your device’s screen, select the Screen Share option. You can then share any information with whoever needs it.
