Taboo Season 2 Storyline:
Steven Knight has given us some hints as to where he’ll be heading James’ narrative next. The previous series ended with James & his surviving comrades leaving ship for America.
Knight predicted that “explosive stuff will take place, which will be great.” I don’t know whether we’re in a place to discuss the specifics of it, but there’s a terrific destination for it.
He has also hinted that the second part of the program “heads west and becomes a little bit more narcotic, more opium-affected.” Hardy also discussed Delaney’s allies and their attraction to him in his interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“He’s put together a rather eclectic group… The type of less-polished elements of society have a weird dignity about that group, he said.
The realization that James is the least vicious person in the room, whether surrounding the firm or the king, is one of the largest things we had in the original setting of the series, in my opinion.
