There has been no official word about the following season, however it was confirmed at the third season premiere that the program will run for a total of six seasons.

The Kardashians Season 5 Storyline:
Kim is asked to host the next SNL. Kendall’s COVID-19 diagnosis rules her out of appearing in this episode. Kylie is carrying a boy. After her son Saint discovers a picture of her at the gaming website Roblox, accompanied by an offensive meme claiming that fresh material from her sex tape is about to be published, Kim contemplates filing a lawsuit against Roblox. Khloé & Tristan are co-parenting peacefully and attending couples treatment to address his infidelity.
Kim arrives in New York in advance of her SNL appearance. Kourtney and Travis start home searching while trying for another child via a terrible IVF treatment.
Khloé has a hard time dealing with the online criticism and hostility she often encounters. After talking to James Corden, she feels more confident and is able to face her fears. Kris and Khloé find out from Travis that he intends to make a proposal to Kourtney.
Kanye steals the sex video from Ray J’s manager and gives it to Kim. Kim’s first appearance on SNL ends up being the show’s highest-rated installment in years.
Kris tells her family about her boyfriend’s unexpected proposal. On the day of their initial anniversary, however, Travis is planning to propose to Kourtney at the same time as their egg retrieval.
Everything is settled, and everyone travels to the hotel where they are going to surprise Kourtney, with the exception of Kourtney’s children, whom Kris believes are too young to understand the significance of the surprise.
Kourtney says yes when Travis pops the question. Kourtney contacts Penelope and Reign on FaceTime to tell them the good news after everyone has returned to the hotel and begun celebrating.
Penelope weeps because she feels she is being left out. For Kourtney, the biggest letdown was that Kris didn’t let her children in on the surprise proposal.
Scott tells Khloé how he really feels about the proposal. The procedure of retrieving the eggs is started by Kourtney and Travis. Khloé spills the beans to Kim about her reconciliation with Tristan.
Kourtney’s loved ones want her to have a sit-down with Scott to discuss new limits and a new “normal” after getting married to Travis. Kim is getting ready to retake the bar test and celebrate her 41st birthday in a low-key manner.
She thinks of her marriage to Kanye and reveals that despite his claim that she was “forced” to discuss their divorce on SNL, she insisted that this was not the case since no “divorce” had really taken place.
She also says that she went to law school because she wanted to redeem herself after the sex video scandal and the general public’s perception of her as a sexual icon.
Scott develops resentment against Kendall and the rest of the family as he is repeatedly excluded from invitations to social gatherings, leading to a confrontation between the two later.
The episode starts up in the midst of the verbal argument between Kendall & Scott. Scott may have been intentionally excluded from previous family gatherings, but Kendall claims that Scott is exaggerating the situation.
Kendall walks out from the conversation without a resolution, and she and her sisters head to Kourtney’s house to discuss it. Kim’s adventure advocating for prison reform and inmates’ rights continues as she meets with a legal ally and rallies support from her celebrity pals.
In the meantime, Kourtney and Travis find out that their latest egg retrieval attempt was unsuccessful, as well as Khloé makes it clear that Tristan, as the biological father of her daughter True, is likely to remain a family member regardless of their romantic status, much like Scott and Kanye. In the last moments of the show, Kendall & Scott sit down together to talk things out.
