Flanagan serves as the show’s creator, executive producer, and main writer. The television show is set in a hospice and follows eight young people who are terminally sick and establish “the Midnight Club”; they get together every night to tell horror stories to one another. Although The Midnight Club by Christopher Pike, published in 1994, served as the series’ main inspiration, it also incorporated short pieces from “27” other Pike novels that were included in the “Midnight Club” stories itself.

Even though I am Mike’s harshest critic, I believe this endeavor should be done better. Although Flannigan often engages in thrilling discussions of very complicated themes, each episode in this instance was too depressing.
Each episode left me feeling very depressed. Although the notion is great, I was hoping for something else.
Because so many individuals suffer with the same terrible reality, the issue is tough to notice. Although the artists provide wonderful performances, at times it is clear that they lack experience, especially when coping with a raw emotion that may be hard to relate to if you haven’t witnessed anything as dreadful as a terminal disease.
I will never regret observing it, and I will forever be a Flann child. I’m eagerly anticipating his next project and am hoping it will live up to the exhilarating experience I’ve come to anticipate from him.
