The Patient Season 2 Storyline:
In the movie The Patient, Alan Strauss, a therapist, is shown as having just lost his wife Beth and being separated from his son Ezra.
Alan accepts Gene as a new patient before the real first scene begins to be filmed. Gene holds his tongue regarding the baggage he has to unload for the first several months.
