X-Men e Fantastic Four, make room for Big Hero 6: as reported exclusively by The Disinsider, whose sources have very often proved reliable in the past, i Marvel Studios would be planning the live-action introduction of the characters from the 2014 animated film.
The report is very clear on the details and indicates that, although rather vague about the identity of the characters specifically, Baymax and Hiro would be the most likely. It has also been specified that at the moment it has not yet been decided whether or not the roles of the live-action characters will be entrusted to the same actors who voiced them in the animated film.
As for the Marvel Studios project they might appear in, the announcement was lied to Secret Invasion, the imminent Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or even a project Agents of Atlas, although obviously - it must be specified - at the moment nothing is confirmed. Nor is it clear exactly how Big Hero 6 can fit the MCU, although the most savvy Marvel fans will know that in the comics the characters of the animated film have had several interactions with the superheroes of the publisher.
Recall that the 2014 film, produced and distributed by Disney, was based on the comic miniseries Big Hero 6 made by writer Scott Lobdell and artist Gus Vasquez. The opera, the first Disney animated film to include characters from Marvel Comics, tells the story of Hiro Hamada, a young robotics genius, and his brother's healthcare robot, Baymax: the two form a team of superheroes to face a masked villain in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo. A television series followed the film, Big Hero 6: The Series, which aired for three seasons on Disney XD, while a spinoff series, entitled Baymax!, was announced on Disney's Investor Day last December and will debut on Disney + in 2022.
