The complicity between Tom Holland e Zendaya it's obvious to both of them and the two actors are very comfortable both on the set of Marvel's Spider-Man and off-set when it comes to promoting the film. In the course of an interview, Holland himself thanked the colleague for the advice received in terms of worldliness.
Speaking with Backstage, in fact, Holland explained in what terms the co-age colleague has helped him a lot in his career and more generally in his everyday life. After appointing Robert Downey Jr. as his first mentor, Holland then cited Zendaya's own influence:
"The second person who has helped me a lot is Zendaya. When we started shooting the first one [Spider-Man], lei, Jacob [Batalon] and I have all become best friends. She has been very helpful in the process of changing my life, because now I wasn't just making great movies but you are traveling the world and everyone is starting to know who you are and recognize you. So you have to behave a certain way. You have a responsibility to keep this idea others have of you, which is to be a role model for kids. And she is the best at this kind of thing. You can't really find anything against Zendaya, she's kind of the perfect person. It was wonderful to have someone like her by my side who helped me in this process. And yes, I made mistakes, I went through a phase where I hated taking pictures with people and I answered with phrases like: 'No no, leave me alone'. She taught me everything by saying, 'That way you will stress yourself out even more than saying yes and being nice.' He was right. It made the whole process much more enjoyable. Having her as a friend was like a pass to the success and happiness of my career and my life".
Tom Holland and Zendaya are on the set of Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 3 which apparently will explore the multiverse in theaters and should include the appearance of Garfield and Maguire's other Spider-Man.
