However, the author specified that it is a working title not yet approved by Warner Bros.
Green, who is also currently working on the Netflix film The Mother, took over the reins of Tomb Raider 2 last January following Ben Wheatley's exit from the project, with the aim of edit the story that Amy Jump, Wheatley's longtime partner, had already made for Lara Croft's new adventure.
The first installment of the Tomb Raider reboot saga hit theaters in 2018 and grossed $ 274 million globally on a budget of $ 94 million, a not-so-exciting achievement but one that still prompted the studio to continue the franchise.
